Wow…that’s quite the selection released this week! Congrats to all the authors. Though I’m tempted to list several, the winner for me is MR. ZINGER’S HAT. What can I say? Elementary my dear Tundra Books, I would love to read The Secret Fiend by Shane Peacock.
For me the combination of social history and instructions is a great combination so I think Talking Tails would be wonderful.
Mr Zenger’s Hat or Secret Fiend – grandsons are between those ages. Sherlock Holmes was one of my favorites shows.
My children love a good mystery.

Talking Tales sounds like a great book to share with my grade 4/5 students as this age kids seem really connected with animals. It also would help them develop their empathy, and would nicely tie in with our school’s social responsibility atmosphere. Sounds great! Way to go, Anne and Jane!
