#Tundra50 Tote Bag Auction

Tundra Books is turning 50! To celebrate we asked some of our illustrators to decorate the back of our limited edition #Tundra50 tote bags. Now you can own a one-of-kind work of art from your favourite picture book artist!

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to IBBY, a non-profit organization representing a network of people committed to bringing books and children together all over the world. For more information about IBBY please visit www.ibby.org.

This auction will run from Friday, June 23 to Friday, July 28th 2017. Minimum bid is $10 and all bids must be made in $5 increments.

2017 ALA Annual Conference

We asked our illustrators to craft something on the back of our #Tundra50 anniversary tote bags. What they came up with blew us away! As a special treat to ALA Annual attendees, we are having a pop-up gallery from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 23, 2017. Join us at booth 3826 for our original art showcase, it’s for one-night only!

One of Toronto’s littlest bookstore is now dedicated to the littlest readers. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Canada’s oldest children’s publisher, Tundra Books, we have transformed the shop to feature Tundra’s classic and new children’s books.

The Tundra takeover is taking place from May 15th through June 9th, 2017. Plan your visit to see Tundra’s latest books, check out some staff picks and enjoy story time and crafts in the shop.

#Tundra50 Rep Search: Summer 2017

tundra-new-300x300Tundra is celebrating 50 years and we want you to help us spread the word!

We are looking to choose 10 people with bookstagram accounts to become #Tundra50 Reps for our summer season. Here’s how you can enter:

  • You must be following @TundraBooks on instagram.
  • You must be a resident of Canada or the United States of America.
  • Your bookstagram account must be public.
  • You must be 18 years of age or have parental permission.
  • Entries will be accepted until Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 11:59 pm EST.

Upon being selected, you will be receiving Tundra books published in May, June, July, and August – along with some other special treats and goodies. You will have to post at least 3 times each month from May to August, featuring the books sent to you. Please tag @TundraBooks in your photos and use the hashtags #Tundra50 along with #PRHPartner. Please make sure that the disclosure occurs before the “expand” or “more” button in the caption. The partnership cannot be buried after. If you post a video, please include “Sponsored by Tundra Books” within the video itself either verbally or through text on the screen.
