Launch of: The Battle for Duncragglin

Andrew H. Vanderwal’s young adult novel, The Battle for Dunragglin, was launched on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. The outstanding event was held at the Assembly Hall from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Here is your chance to hear about the work of three of our talented members. Come and enjoy Marthe Jocelyn, Ruth Ohi and Alice Priestley as they discuss their recent work. Tables will be set up around the room so that illustrators and aspiring illustrators both can share their portfolios during the coffee hour. This meeting is open to the public so bring a friend!

TINARS for Tots: Bradley McGogg, The Very Fine Frog

This Is Not a Reading Series for Tots on Saturday, March 21, 2009 was presented by Pages Books & Magazine, The Little Paper, Bunch, and the Gladstone Hotel. Emily Holton, acclaimed artist and author, was the host of TINAR’s “Read Me a Game.” Tundra’s Tim Beiser presented Bradley McGogg, The Very Fine Frog with a tasty bug song and a frog cooking show (part of the Frog Food Network of course). Also presenting that day was Julie Morstad’s ABC and David Bruins and Hilary Leung’s The Legend of Ninja Cowboy Bear.
