Megabat Mega Contest

Megabat has found a home with Daniel, now you can provide a home to bats in your area!

Bats help control mosquito populations, pollinate flowers, and spread seeds. But pesticide use, a disappearing habitat, and white nose syndrome are threatening the survival of Canada’s bat population. Installing a bat house on your property benefits at-risk species by providing them with a safe, long-lasting summer home.

This bat house, generously donated by Canadian Tire, measures 20.5″ H x 12″ W x 5″ D (52 cm x 30 cm x 13 cm) and features a unique triple chamber inside that mimics the space between bark and a tree trunk. Bats like cozy spaces!

I could go on and on about the exquisite stitches and zig-zags and careful needlework found on every page. What amazing work you did, and what beautiful embroidery and stitches you produced for us to admire and marvel over.
