On this day in 1725, John Newton was born. He is best known for writing the beloved hymn, “Amazing Grace.” The photo above is a painting by Janet Wilson that hangs in the Tundra boardroom. This piece of artwork is in her book, Out of Slavery: The Journey to Amazing Grace, written by Linda Granfield.
