2018 ALA Midwinter Conference

Dear book lovers,

We brought our Fall 2017 books in case you didn’t see them at ALA Annual last year. You can pick up a height chart featuring Linda Bailey‘s titles for all ages, a How to Make Friends with a Ghost art card, Yak and Dove art cards, and When the Moon Comes posters.

From our Spring 2018 list, we think Winter Is a Scream! Get some buttons for your school and libraries! We also have From the Heart of Africa art cards for Black History Month, Sakura’s Cherry Blossoms postcards for cherry blossom festivals in March, Tilly and Tank posters and buttons, Trampoline Boy posters, Petra magnets, Peanut Butter and Jelly place mats and window clings, This Is Sadie art cards, and lots of Monster ARCs.

We asked our illustrators to craft something on the back of our #Tundra50 anniversary tote bags. What they came up with blew us away! As a special treat to ALA Annual attendees, we are having a pop-up gallery from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 23, 2017. Join us at booth 3826 for our original art showcase, it’s for one-night only!

2016 ALA Annual Conference

ALAMy how time flies! For those of you planning your ALA Annual schedule already, we wanted to let you know that Tundra Books will be exhibiting at the conference. Please visit Pamela and Vikki in the exhibit hall at booth #2331 to learn about our new and upcoming books – and to pick up notepads, dry-erase calendars, buttons, educators’ guides, posters, art cards, recipe cards, ARCs, and more!

Here are some events you should make note of to attend:

  • At the Book Buzz Theater on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 12:30 – 1:15 pm, Ben Clanton will be presenting Narwhal.
  • Ben Clanton will be signing Narwhal on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at booth 2331.
  • Vikki VanSickle will be signing If I Had a Gryphon on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 11:30 am at booth 2331.

If I Had a GryphonFor the author and illustrator signings at our booth, we will be handing out complimentary copies of the books at a first come, first serve basis. So don’t forget, there’s a limited number of signed books.
