I would love to get my hands on ‘Shipwrecks, Monsters, and Mysteries of the Great Lakes’ for her, so that she could learn historical accounts from Canadian sources. It surely is important for Canadians to know about their homeland!

30. I would love to read ‘Five Thousand Years of Slavery’… I’ve heard about this book and it sounds fascinating. Not only does it cover slavery in the historical context, but my understanding is that it also covers modern slavery. There is also an examination of the reasons for this form of horror and why it still exists. Thanks!
